What an AMAZING show! Thank you to Heather Rodgers, owner of Respond if you please for putting together such an incredible show! Many Thanks to The Heritage Hotel for hosting it as well. Terrific venue, amazing staff, and great location if any of you brides out there are still looking for the perfect rustic atmosphere but don’t want to be outside, you have to check out the Heritage! There were over 100 Brides that came through the doors at the Heritage on Sunday and over 300 people total! We were thrilled to meet so many happy couples, and to see a lot of our favorite vendors! We’ve been meeting non stop with couples from the show and are happy to be gearing up for our busiest year yet! Can’t wait for Wedding Season 2013!! Trust me… You won’t want to miss it!
This bridal show was like a ‘coming out’ party for Karie Peterson Photography. This was my first show I have ever done showcasing my own work. My entire Heart and Soul went into creating everything from scratch. My amazing fiancé re-purposed this rustic farm fresh wood that we found on a hike in New Milford and built me a frame to display all my work. All of my promotional material I custom designed, printed and hand trimmed my self and all of the table decorations I either had, was passed down by a family member, I repurposed out of something, or I bought at the Good Will. I love DIY projects and wanted to show all the brides to be that all of their DIY projects and all the little details that they are going to be put into their wedding day won’t be over looked or forgotten because I feel the same passion they do for every piece of the puzzle. I really enjoyed meeting all of the Brides-to-be and am very thankful to my cousin who selflessly volunteered to help me at my booth. There was such a huge turnout I would have been lost without her. A note to all of you Brides-to-be, if family is the most important part of your life, then I’m the photographer for you. If you love to DIY and being creative with what you have, then I’m the photographer for you. If you have nothing but love in your heart and passion in your soul, then ladies….I’m the photographer for you. Email me Weddings@KariePetersonPhotography.com or call the Studio 203.885.5597. I want to hear about your story, your journey, your ideas and then I want to show you how I can help you remember it forever.
Congratulations Pete and Lisa! You two are an amazing couple and I can’t wait to hear all about your new and exciting adventures as a married couple!
Their ceremony and reception were beautiful and tons of fun all of there family, friends, and ME had such a great time! What made the night even better and made for a flawless evening was seeing all of my favorite vendors come out to make this night unforgettable for Pete and Lisa too!! The hair and makeup was done by Dawns Pizzazz, Catering done by Tom Devine at Two Steps and the reception was at the famous Lounsbury House in Ridgefield CT, (one of my most favorite venues to shoot at) And of course me behind the camera!! Congrats you two! Many Happy Blessings!
