Aimee and Michael are a match made in internet Heaven. Both were looking to meet the right person when Michael came across Aimee’s profile on Christian Mingle. After several emails and text messages, they finally decided to talk on the phone. That quickly led to an obvious next step – to meet in person. The first get together, or “super date,” was an all day affair. It started with church (a pretty safe place to meet a virtual stranger) and from there they went on to lunch, Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, shopping at the mall and a movie. Neither one wanted the date to end – it was love at first site. From day one they have been inseparable. By the end of that first date Michael knew he had met his future wife. (She was pretty sure too!)
So for such a special couple, I decided we had to pull out all the stops and recreate their ‘Super Date’. We started with some coffee and creativity at our favorite new roasting company, Redding Roasters in Bethel CT. Then stopped in at The Rainy Day book Store, right next door. Coffee and a Book… genius!! I love natural light and all things outdoors, so we made a quick stop where the light was just right, and warmed right back up with a trip to Molten Java and Byrds Books in Bethel, CT. It was so great to capture such variety within the same theme. Loved all of our locations and am very Thankful that all of the owners were thrilled to have us visit for a few portraits!
I can not wait for Aimee and Mike’s Wedding! I am thrilled to be apart of it!
Enjoy a taste of our session, and if you have any creative or unique ideas for your engagement session, I can’t wait to hear them! Email me: Info@KariePetersonPhotography and tell me all about it!
